Welcome to the Palmerston Magpies Website
The Palmerston Magpies Football Club began in 1970 and was originally known as the Internationals. At that time most players were English and Greek soccer players. In 1973 North Darwin Football Club was formed, with the club winning a premiership in 1980/81 under the leadership of Coach Ian Smith and Captain John Stokes (father of current AFL footballer Matthew Stokes).

"RJ" Settles Back in the Nest
His second stint as coach of the NTFL Magpies has galvanised the satellite city seven years after the man called "RJ" lead them to back-to-back premierships.
Jeffrey has Pies right on track
The NTFL Magpies have full houses at training and a feeling of determination to put things right after years in the wilderness.
Jeffrey back to lead Pies
The former St Kilda and Brisbane defender will coach
the Magpies for the next two seasons.
Jeffrey was at the helm during the club's
most successful era from 1998 to 2003.
